The Construction Blueprint 2 project – Strategic Alliance for skills development under the Pact for Skills for the Construction sector – is funded under the Erasmus+ programme. A 48-month initiative led by Fundación Laboral de la Construcción in Spain as of January 2025, it involves 21 partners from 10 European countries.
This project, part of the Pact for Skills in the Construction sector, aims to develop strategic approaches and concrete solutions for skills development, addressing the green and digital transitions in construction. The project focuses on designing and developing core curricula for vocational education and training (VET) and higher education (HE), alongside delivering targeted training to meet emerging industry needs.
The consortium, comprising training providers, sector representatives, social partners, innovation centres, and technological developers, works to update the Construction Skills Observatory, create a web app with training resources, and develop a Skills Strategy for the Construction Ecosystem.
EBC will act, in collaboration with FIEC and EFBWW as the three coordinators of the Pact for Skills in construction, to provide political steering to the project and bring the point of view of small construction companies and craftsmen on the training developments.
