SHAPE II focuses on accelerating the construction and renovation of affordable and sustainable housing. The project emphasizes creating resilient communities, transforming neglected areas into vibrant neighbourhoods, and shifting from linear to circular systems in housing. With 6 partners from various sectors, SHAPE II builds on previous experiences to foster the regeneration of social and affordable neighbourhoods. It aims at offering a comprehensive learning program, including financial and technical advisory, mentorship, study visits, and capacity-building events.
Aimed at supporting Europe’s path to climate neutrality by 2050, the initiative seeks to empower organizations across Europe with the knowledge and skills to develop sustainable housing solutions that address energy poverty, promote social inclusion, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring that new or renovated homes remain affordable and inclusive.
